It's time for another ScrawlrBox reveal for May.
The Supply Theme is Charcoal, my second last favorite art supply... besides pastel.


Here an overview:

The contents are this month: 2 Coates Willow Charcoal Sticks, a Seawhite Black Compressed Charcoal Block, a Koh-I-Noor Giocoda Charcoal Pencil, 2 Lyra Rembrandt Pencils (White, Sepia), a Lyra Rembrandt Splender Pencil, a Winsor & Newton Medium Kneaded Putty Eraser, a Faber Castell Perfection Eraser Pecil, a KUM Magnesium Double Hole Pencil Sharpener and a PaintOn Gray Paper pad A5.

This time I don't have a swatch sheet.
This month challenge word is "Carbon Heroes" and of course I choose Taichi and Koromon from Digimon Adventure as a true Digimon-Fan <3

Hello again (ﾉ^ヮ^)ﾉ*:・ﾟ✧

This time I will show you the April ScrawlrBox.
It was a watercolor based box, lucky me <3

I'm very late with this box, but I'm still waiting for the may one, so it's okay.


Here an overview:

The contents are this month: 2 Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer Watercolor Marker(Phthalo blue, Cadmium yellow), 3 Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer Watercolor Pencils(Emerald green, Deep scarlet red, Walnut brown), a Derwent Sketching Pencil, a Pro Arte Polar Series 31 Round Brush (Size 6), a ScrawlrBox watercolor pad (300 gsm, cold pressed), an artist review, a candy and a sticker.

These markers and pencils are really high pigmented with stunning, lightfast colors <3 

With really great reacting with water(almost completely loosing).

My favorite supply is of course the brush - I'm a "brush-collector" ٩(♡ε♡ )۶

This month challenge word was "daydreamer".

And this is my finished piece for it:

You can see my own characters (OCs) Caelo and Kardes from my coming manga series "Caelestes" on a mysterious creature ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

It was hard for me to mixing all these colors with only 5 colors, but it worked somehow.

But it was fun and there will come more and more pictures of them <3

Otaku-Update # 06

Hi there (*＾▽＾)／

I decided to continue writing this blog in English.
I mean I will try it with my crappy "English"... （ ゜ρ゜)°

This time I start with a small April Otaku-Update.


Let's start with some art supplies:

Since I got this both art subscription boxes (Upcrate and ScrawlrBox) I am buying fewer drawing materials. Luckily x´3
I really love this Pearlcolors from Coliro, so shiny and opaque (not only on black surfaces, on all).
This both pens are Fudepens from Tombow with a hard and a soft tip, good for writing and for filling black spaces(like hair, background in a Manga Panel).
This pad is from Clairefontaine, it's for Manga storyboarding and therefore very thin.
And I bought a new fountain pen(from Schneider) after years, I really like to write with it <3


Next topic Artbooks:

I've got this both artbooks.
The left one is "Final Fantasy Official Memorial Ultimania Book" with artworks from FF VII - IX. It's the first book of three, the second one will be released in September 2020.
And right the fantastic Guild Wars (The Complete Art of Guild Wars: ArenaNet 20th Anniversary Edition) artbook  (｡♥‿♥｡)
So much wonderful art works, I definitely scan some artworks and making posters out of them <3
I got two small artbooks aside this two from Final Fantasy VII Remake(Deluxe Edition) and from Persona 5 Royal(Phantom Thieves Edition).


And next and last topic Games:

As written above, I bought the deluxe editions from Persona 5 Royal and FF VII Remake. And I wanted to play FF XII again, it's my first time with this remastered edition.

Ahoi (。･∀･)ﾉ

Wie im letzten Blogeintrag gesagt, heute geht es um die Upcrate-Box vom März 2020.

Seit Oktober 2019 bekomme ich diese deutsche "Abo-Zeichenkram-Box" jeden Monat und bis jetzt gefiel mir diese Box besser als die ScrawlrBox, weil man dort auch mehr bekommt für sein Geld.

Hier eine Übersicht über den Inhalt:

Mit dabei sind zwei Centropen Fineliner (0,7 & 0,5), zwei schwarze Sharpies (ultra fine point & fine point), ein gelber Sharpie (fine point), ein roter Montana Permanent Marker, ein Penac Protti Druckbleistift, sieben Artline Supreme Brush Marker, ein Bleistiftminen-Refill, eine Sharpie-Tasche (als Goodie), Markerpapier (leider hab ich mir die Marke nicht aufgeschrieben), ein paar Sticker und ein Artprint.

Am besten hat mir tatsächlich der Druckbleistift gefallen, diesen kann man am Ende des Stiftes in verschiedenen Stärken verstellen.

Das kannte ich bisher noch nicht und er liegt gut in der Hand.
Die Artline Supreme Brush Marker gefielen mir auch gut zum schnellen Kolorieren, sehr kräftige Farben, eine gute und biegsame Pinselspitze.
Durch die Box habe ich auch zum ersten Mal die Sharpies kennengelernt, auf Youtube habe ich mehrere Videos gesehen, wo Art-Youtuber damit kolorieren.
Mein Fall sind sie nicht, sie sind halt permanent Marker und vielleicht eher für andere Oberflächen als Papier gedacht.
Vielleicht gefallen sie mir auf Stoff besser¯\_ಠ_ಠ_/¯

Und hier ist das Bild, was ich mit den Zeichenmaterialien gezeichnet habe.

Eigentlich war der Art-Battle-Topic "Doodle Invasion", aber ich bin kein Fan davon, deshalb habe ich ein recht schnelles Kritzelbild meines OCs Caelo gezeichnet während einer Dungeons & Dragons Session (￣ω￣;)

In den nächsten Tagen kommt dann eine kleine Übersicht über die Persona 5 Royal Phantom Thieves Edition o(*≧□≦)o

Hallihallo ⌒°(❛ᴗ❛)°⌒


Nach langer Abwesenheit melde ich mich zurück.
Diese mal gibt es die Übersicht der ScrawlrBox von diesem März.


Übrigens habe ich auch die Upcrate-Box seit Oktober des letzten Jahres abonniert und freue mich damit auf zwei verschiedene "Art-supply Aboboxen" pro Monat ლζ*♡ε♡*ζლ
In 2 Tagen gibt es die Übersicht vom März zur Upcrate-Box.

Hier ist die Übersicht von der März ScrawlrBox, die vor wenigen Tagen bei mir ankam.


Diesmal sind drei Spectrum Noir Tri Blend Marker, ein Molotow Blackliner 0.4, ein Lyra Rembrandt Art Design Bleistift, ein Faber Castell Dust Free Radiergummi und ein Clairefontaine Goldline A5 Layout Pad dabei. Und natürlich ein Artprint, die Übersichtskarte mit Challenge-Thema(diesmal "Imaginarium"), ein Sticker und eine Süßigkeit.

Das Challenge-Thema hat mir diesen Monat echt nicht zugesagt (‘-’*)
Deshalb habe ich als Zeichnung eine Übersicht gezeichnet, was ich so mag.
Im Vordergrund Taichi Yagami, mein Lieblingscharakter of all time aus Digimon Adventure, meine Katze Salem, mein Lieblingsvogel ein Nymphensittich, mein Maskottchen Orenji, Wiz/With aus D.N.Angel was ich gerade wieder als Manga lese. Und Zeichenmaterialien.
Habe dummerweise einen Controller vergessen (っ- ‸ – ς)

Ich werde die Marker sicherlich noch öfter verwenden, finde die Idee genial, drei verschiedenen Farben bei einem Marker zu haben <3
